Ira Kasdan has practiced law in Washington, D.C. for more than 30 years and is a graduate of Yeshiva University and the Georgetown University Law Center. He helped found P’shara Dispute Resolution, Inc., a mediation/arbitration service for the Jewish community at large. His article “A Proposal for P’shara, A Jewish Mediation/Arbitration Service”, was first published in Jewish Action, Spring 1990, a publication of the Orthodox Union. Mr. Kasdan frequently presents Halacha-related shiurim (classes) in Silver Spring, MD where he and his family reside.
